New IFA system launching

At BioSystems, we're always evolving to meet your needs and expand our analytical solutions portfolio. This year we have introduced our new Complete Immunofluorescence Assay (IFA) System, designed for seamless, high‑accuracy autoimmunity testing.

This system consists of: 

      •  BioSystems iPRO, the Immunofluorescence Processor

      •  BioSystems ARA, the Laboratory Management Software

      •  BioSystems MIRA, the Automated Microscope

      •  BioSystems DataMatrix-coded slides and reagents

BioSystems iPRO

With BioSystems iPRO, you will improve your lab capacity through effective and automated sample processing. This is a self-sufficient system that adapts to different laboratory sizes and reduces dependency on manual processes during slide processing.

BioSystems ARA

This advanced software streamlines the laboratory routine, maximising sample traceability and removing manual errors. Also, thanks to integrating all the available data from different tests on the ARA platform, the reporting process and result communication will be faster.

BioSystems MIRA

Besides its small size, this automated microscope delivers powerful performance, scanning up to 16 slides in a single load. With a constant LED light intensity, it standardises the reading and interpretation of IFA results, achieving high-quality images. This microscope is the perfect balance of innovation and practicality, providing precision and efficiency without compromising on functionality.

BioSystems DataMatrix-coded slides and reagents

We offer a comprehensive solution, manufacturing both the instruments and the reagents required for optimal IFA assay performance. This integrated approach ensures a high-quality, reliable system that delivers consistently optimized assay results.

Our approach of having the immunofluorescence processor and the automated microscope separately allows for continuous processing of samples on the iPRO while slides are scanned and results are reported.

Moreover, this modular system is designed to adapt to the unique needs of different laboratories, facilitating easy customisation and expansion as the laboratory requirements evolve. It allows the connection of an unlimited number of devices according to the laboratory's needs.

Traceability is ensured within the IFA system, thanks to the DataMatrix code printed on the slides, which will be scanned by the iPRO processor and BioSystems MIRA microscope, centralising all this information on the BioSystems ARA platform. With this traceability improvement, human error will be reduced. 

This complete IFA system has been designed in collaboration with users to exceed real users' expectations and provide an exceptional experience.
