The Norma Icon-5 OP combines smart engineering with a fresh, modern design and delivers a 27-parameter complete blood count (CBC), including a 5-part WBC differential scattergram, and histograms for RBC and PLT.

It utilizes laser-based forward-scattered light method for WBC differentiation, volumetric impedance for RBC counting, and a photometric method for hemoglobin measurement.
Developed with near-patient testing in mind, the Icon-5 OP is well-suited for ICUs, emergency departments, GP offices, blood banks, and mobile care units. Its small footprint, low reagent consumption, minimal sample volume requirements, and no weekly maintenance make it a practical, user-friendly solution for a wide range of clinical settings.
